IMMEDIATE AFTERCARE
(First 24hrs)
1. Leave the Bandage On: Keep the initial bandage on for 1–4 hours post-session to protect the area from bacteria.
2. First Wash:
• Wash your hands thoroughly.
• Gently remove the bandage.
• Clean the tattoo with warm water and a mild, fragrance-free liquid soap.
• Pat the area dry with a clean paper towel or allow it to air dry.
3. Apply Tattoo Tonic:
• Using clean hands, apply a thin, even layer of Tattoo Tonic to the tattooed area.
• Avoid over-applying; a small amount is sufficient.
• Ensure not to double-dip into the balm to maintain its purity.
ON GOING CARE (2-14 days)
• Cleaning: Wash the tattoo gently with warm water and mild soap twice daily.
• Moisturizing: After each wash, apply a thin layer of Tattoo Tonic to keep the skin hydrated.
• Clothing: Wear loose-fitting clothing to prevent irritation.
• Sun Exposure: Keep the tattoo out of direct sunlight. Once healed, apply a high-SPF sunscreen to protect the artwork.
• Avoid Submersion: Do not submerge the tattoo in water (baths, pools, oceans) for at least two weeks.
• No Picking or Scratching: As the tattoo heals, it may scab or peel. Do not pick at it to avoid scarring or color loss.
SIGNS OF PROPER HEALING
• Initial redness and swelling should subside within a few days.
• Mild itching and peeling are normal during the healing process.
• The tattoo should appear slightly dull until fully healed.
